ORANGE GOBLIN Commences Work On New Material

July 28, 2008

British doomsters ORANGE GOBLIN have issued the following update:

"ORANGE GOBLIN have just started work on material for a new album which they are planning to record in March 2009 for a summer release. So far there are three or four new songs in the pipeline and the band hope to have new material to play live before the end of the year. Expect an announcement regarding record label developments to follow very soon.

"The band are also starting to make plans to re-release their first five albums through Rise Above Records. These will be deluxe packages featuring unheard material such as demos, covers and live recordings as well as new photos and sleeve notes. There are plans to release them on gatefold vinyl as well as a limited edition box set of all five. We'll keep you updated with the progress of these but the band hope to have them available before the end of this year.

"ORANGE GOBLIN are pleased to announce a new deal with German booking company, Vibra-Agency. For anyone wishing to book the band on mainland Europe please contact www.vibra-agency.de."

ORANGE GOBLIN's latest CD, "Healing through Fire", was released in May 2007 through Sanctuary Records. The album was initially released as a CD with a bonus DVD featuring live footage from the band's headline show at London's Mean Fiddler in December 2006.
